Instructional technology portfolio
Welcome!
I'm so glad you're here.
This digital portfolio is a reflection of who I am as an educator—someone who believes in the power of inclusive, student-centered learning and the thoughtful integration of technology to support every learner.
Throughout my journey in the Instructional Technology Master's program, I’ve explored innovative ways to design meaningful instruction, foster engagement, and promote equity in the classroom.
Here, you’ll find a collection of projects that highlight my growth as an instructional designer and educator. From interactive learning tools to research-informed resources, each artifact connects to the AECT standards and demonstrates how I apply theory to practice.

Thank you for taking the time to explore my work. I hope it gives you a clear sense of my passion, my purpose, and my commitment to lifelong learning.

about me
My name is La’Niya Johnson, and I am a 4th grade teacher at J.P. Ryon Elementary School in Charles County, Maryland. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology, with a concentration in Instructional Design and Development.
In addition to my role in the classroom, I also provide professional development to fellow educators, helping them integrate instructional technology tools to enhance teaching and learning. I am passionate about creating engaging, inclusive learning environments and using technology to support both students and teachers. My goal is to inspire curiosity, encourage collaboration, and empower learners of all ages.
